FEST - International Youth Film Festival, is now one of the most important cultural events Portugal, and one of the biggest International film festivals when revealing new directors, The Offcial Competion is for young directors up to 30 years of age.  But this is just the starting point, FEST has become much more than that in the last few years, Now Including the FEST Training Ground Experience. 

FEST Training Ground is a place where young film enthusiast and film makers from all over the world gather in one week, to attend a deluxe training from workshops to master classes, lectured by industry top experts with recognized achievements.

ANNOUNCING AND INVITING FILMMAKERS FOR THE FILMMAKER’S CORNER IN TG2010!

The Filmmakers Corner will be a great chance for up and coming filmmakers to expose their work and open new opportunities for them, this section will be a part of FEST-Training Ground 2010.

The Filmmakers Corner will consist on a special screening room, which will be open from the 22 to the 26th of June, and where any filmmaker registered on FEST-Training Ground can show their works, this way they can have an excellent opportunity for networking, finding new partners and opportunities for the future.

Where will it be held?
On Centro Multimeios de Espinho, integrated on FEST2010, and FEST Training Ground 2010

How can I show my films there?
You must be a registered participant on FEST-Training Ground, after, when you arrive to the event you can choose a time slot to use the projection room for the screening of your film.

Who can attend?
All entries are free, and you can choose who will attend, you can do a private screening for someone you met at the event, or you can do a public screening and invite as many people as you want.

How interesting is it for a filmmaker?
FEST-Training Ground is predicted to have in 2010 more than 250 participants from all over the world, all of them involved in the film business, furthermore you will have more that 30 world top experts, all in the same place, so it is an extraordinary opportunity for networking and getting yourself out there. On top the event is predicted to have around 10000 general public in 2010.

How can I promote my screening while in Espinho?
You can do many things, from leaflets to word of mouth, just be inventive and get your word out there.

Who is eligible?
Every film maker or film enthusiast is eligible for registering; you just need to have a genuine interest in the subject, an open spirit, and the will to learn.
