ÉCU at Cannes Film FestivalThe countdown has started, only five days to go until an event with one of the biggest media coverage in the world begins. The 2012 Cannes International Film Festival will commence May 16th, and conclude on May 27t. Our team from ÉCU will be there bringing our independent flavour, so be sure not to miss this prestigious annual event. The Cannes Film festival is an excellent opportunity for ÉCU to bring to light both our strong commitment towards quality cinema, our skilled filmmakers, and the films featured in our last edition of ÉCU 2012. Our mission at ÉCU is to discover and sustain talented filmmakers - and this is exactly what we plan to do this year in Cannes! Without losing our independent characteristic, (which has always distinguished us) we will be present in Cannes from the very beginning; we will work alongside other talent in the industry, as well as spread the voice about our incredible films. Furthermore, do not forget the 21st of May, as it marks the day we will announce the Call of Submission for ÉCU 2013, exposing some of the most influential personalities of this sector. During these two weeks of the festival, we will provide a continuous update of what is going on in Cannes; we can be followed online through a number of our social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Fest21, and Filmannex. This is just the beginning of our adventure in Cannes, and we want you to be a part of it, so...
