DotFest's blogWe are happy and proud to present the first edition of the DotFest http://dotfest.net/ INTERNATIONAL ONLINE SHORT FILM FESTIVAL which was created to present and reward the very best in international independent short filmmaking. DotFest will take place from April 1st – April 18th, 2010. The festival serves as a platform for both emerging and seasoned filmmakers around the world to showcase their films in effort to receive global recognition and significant cash awards. We’ll help to connect the dots between talented filmmakers and the audience in a web-based environment.  The LegendWe are very happy to announce our first jury member. Jonas Mekas, the godfather of American avant-garde cinema, honoured us by agreeing to take part in watching and judging the films in the competition. About DotFest Moon Alexandra DotFest -http://dotfest.net/ is a online film competition in which best short films will be selected for screening during the festival via the internet and awarded by an expert jury and the audience. DotFest accepts short films (up to 10 minutes) in the following categories: Fiction, Animation, Music video and Experimental films The winner in each category will receive a 2000€ cash prize.
