The Clearwater Film Festival is evolving. In 2010 we came out of the gate with a glowing presence, hosting 75 films, a dozen educational film panels, six beautiful parties and the initiation of The Wavecrest Award. This year we are poised to do it again, bringing a stronger live music element with a multitude of stages at participating establishments on Clearwater Beach. In addition to keeping our eyes open for great films, this summer we have our ears to the ground to locate the brightest musical talents seeking a spotlight. At festival time we will present a ripe harvest with a bounty of entertainment with something for everyone. Be part of it. Opportunities are here for everyone, whether you are here to be one of our many outstanding artists, partake of the entertainment, or join us as a vendor. We want you involved.
The Clearwater Film & Music Festival is a platform built to showcase seasoned filmmakers and emerging artists who demonstrate the synergy of the actor, writer and director. When great talents work harmoniously the results may be beautiful, questionable or even shocking. When the talents of the actor, writer and director belong to the same person, the triple-threat filmmaker, those results are often extraordinary. It is here that we applaud those efforts. Quality film submissions of any length are welcome from all genres worldwide.  The Clearwater Film Festival Announces the "Film Boutique"We finished out our submission season with exactly 200 film submissions and will be screening 60 - 70 films from around the world. But that is not all. The Clearwater Film Festival has one more ambitious project underway that you may like to be a part of. The Film Boutique is the beginning of what we intend to become a film market. While traditional film markets may offer festival attendees hundreds of options in dealmaking with industry pros, we have to start somewhere, so we can't promise a thing other than space for you to park yourself and promote your films. Our aim is to make this an authentic film market in subsequent years. As attendees enter and exit the Largo Cultural Center, they will be invited to tour the "Film Boutique" where they may learn more about you and your film and purchase a copy. This will be set up as a mini-convention hall during the festival September 29 - October 3 on THU 9/30 - FRI 10/1 - SAT 10/2 from Noon - 6 PM. Your entire cost for all three days is $200 for single film promotion or $350 for producers and distributors with multiple titles. This is a flat rate whether you use your space all three days or not. If you would like to have a table set up in a 10" x 10" space, we have up to 20 spots available. To reserve your spot, please call us at 727-599-5137. We are doing everything possible to encourage the participation of film distributors in our first year and feel this may be a step in the right direction. We look forward to your participation. |
