"One Last Dance" was One good Last Singapore film for the week

Last night I went to see the Singapore film, "One Last Dance" at the Tous les Cinemas du Monde Theatre.

The director Max Makowski came into the small theatre (that almost looks like it is made with tin foil from the outside) and presented the film himself. The film was about the revenge of an assassin, but there was a lot more to it than a series of murders. The movie was full of metaphors and symbolism, along with an artistic and exciting style of cinematography and camera movement, making the viewer mentally engaged in every detail throughout the entire movie. I am not normally a fan of movies about mobs and assiassins, but this film I definitely enjoyed. There was a sense of humor that carried through the entire film, but not at the expense of wisdom given through metaphorical conversations between the characters. It is definitely a film you need to see more than once in order to get the most out of all the symbolic imagery, but it was not too confusing so that you felt lost throughout it. I was definitely glad to have had the opportunity to see such a great film that I normaly would never have seen at home.
