Originally structured to
be three separate stories, Bui ended up combining them as one. "There
was something in the script that I only discovered in the editing,"
he says. "I found the stories had the same emotional arc." |

this film," star and executive producer Harvey Keitel told Moving Pictures
in Sundance, where the film won a number of top prizes at the film festival,
including the grand jury prize and the audience award. "There are themes
that Tony wrote about that mean a great deal to me. Which of us has not
had the need to seek oneself out by meeting another, be it a friend, a
