En compagnie des hommes
Deux cadres, Chad et Howard, sont envoyés pour six semaines dans une filiale de leur entreprise. Tous deux se sentent frustrés par l'existence. Dépassés par des jeunes loups plus agressifs, et rejetés par leurs fiancées, ils décident de se venger. Pour cela, il leur faut une femme qui n'aurait pas l'habitude d'être courtisée. Tous deux la couvriront de rendez-vous, de fleurs, de mots doux, jusqu'à lui en faire perdre la tête, pour mieux la laisser tomber, à leur départ. Ils trouvent une secrétaire, ravissante, et sourde. C'est à elle que reviendra le terrible privilège de passer six semaines... en compagnie des hommes.
Two managers, Chad and Howard, are sent to their branch office for six weeks. Both are very frustrated with their existence. One-stepped by the younger aggressive boys and rejected by their girl friends, they decide to get their vengence. And that meant finding a woman out of the ordinary. Both of them drown her with flowers, tender words and rendez-vous up until she can't take it anymore and then they leave her. It is this secretary, lovely and deaf, who has the priviledge of spending six weeks...in the company of men.

Neil LaBute
Après des études à la Brigham Young University, il s'inscrit à l'université de New York pour y suivre un cours consacré à l'écriture. Il reçoit ensuite une bourse pour étudier au Royal Court Theatre de Londres. Il suit ensuite un stage au Sundance Institute consacré à l'écriture dramaturgique. Il a déja écrit une dizaines de pièces, qui ont été montées aux Etats-Unis et en Europe. "En Compagnie des Hommes" est son premier film.
After his studies at Bringham Young University, Neil LaBute enrolled at New York University for a writing course. He then received a grant for studies at the Royal Court Theatre of London. Then on to a program at Sundance Institute in dramatical writing. He has written ten plays brought to the stage in America and in Europe. "In the Company of Men" is his first film.
