President of the Jury GERALDINE CHAPLIN

Geraldine Chaplin, international Actress and daughter of Charlie Chaplin, heads the Jury of the 5th Annual Le Prix Cristal as its President. Geraldine Chaplin was born in Santa Monica, California on July 31, 1944, the first child of film legend Charlie Chaplin and Oona O'Neill, daughter of writer Eugene O'Neill.

Geraldine attended Swiss schools and began a career as a dancer attending the Royal Ballet Academy in England. David Lean discovered the young dancer while performing in Paris and gave her a major role in the acclaimed film Doctor Zhivago.

Her first film appearance was for her father in Limelight (1952), and since then, Geraldine been starring in international films throughout the world. Her filmography includes over eighty-four films and television movie and mini-series, such as The Three Musketeers (1973), Nashville (1975), A Wedding (1978), The Moderns (1987), Chaplin (1992), The Age of Innocence (1993), Cousin Bette (1998), To Walk With Lions (1999), and In the Beginning (2000).
