Public transport

The travel network is made up of the metro, bus services and the RER suburban railway. Paris and its suburbs are divided into five main fare zones, though most visitors will not need to travel beyond zone two. Paris public transport generally runs between 06.00-00.30. After that the only form of transport is night buses or taxis but beware, Paris has a shortage of licenced taxis. For information call 40 06 71 45.
