  WEATHER

Temperate, sunny climate. July-Sept, temperatures remain in the 30s, while in the winter they are usually 12-18°C. Unexpected, sporadic, heavy rain and winds (Mistral or Sirocco) can occur in March-early May, and late Sept-December. Temperatures during the festival average 18-23°C, though be prepared to run around wearing a mackintosh with your swim-suit and sun glasses! An umbrella is a must.

Banks 9.00-12.00 and 14.00-17.00, Monday to Friday; some open from 12.00-14.00 and on Saturdays.

Shops 9/9.30-12.30 and 14.00-19.00, Monday to Saturday most food shops (apart from supermarkets) do not re-open in the afternoon until 15.00.

Offices 8.30/9.00-12/12.30 and 14.00-18.00, Monday to Friday; Saturday openings from 09.00-12.00 are not uncommon.
