Jury
and Awards
Cinemagic is one of the few competitive film festivals in the world at
which the winners are selected by a jury made up solely of young people.
The Cinemagic jury will select from those films in competition the Best
Feature Film and Best Short Film of the Festival. All short films in the
festival including an Oscar winner and a nominee are in competition. Feature
films in competition as listed hail from America, France, Iran, Switzerland,
Canada, Ireland, Norway, Sweden and France. The prize for the winner of
the Best Feature is a specially commissioned piece of Irish Sculpture
and £1000. The prize for for the Best Short Film is a specially commissioned
piece of Irish sculpture and £500
