Cinemagic
Young Film Critic of the Year 2000
in association with The Walt Disney Company
Write a review (maximum 500 words) of any film you see during this year's
festival and you could become the Cinemagic Young Film Critic of the Year
2000. The competition has two age categories, 10-14 and 15-18 years. The
winners and a parent/guardian will get the fantastic prize of a four day
trip to Disneyland in California. The trip will include an exclusive behind-the-scenes
tour of the Walt Disney Animation Studios which in recent years has produced
hits such as Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Pocahontas and Tarzan.
Remember we are looking for YOUR thoughts and ideas - not your parents,
teachers or classmates. Rules: Your review should not retell the story
(remember the judges will have already seen the film). Your review must
be about a film you saw at this year's festival.
A Cinemagic
panel will select the winners.
The panel's decision is final.
There will be no alternative to the prizes offered.
Send your reviews by 10 February 2001 to
