The Sundance Institute
announced March 16 the Audience Winner for the inaugural Sundance Online Film
Festival. The film Freeware, directed by Alex Orrelle, was voted the
best film by online viewers over the site's duration.
The film is a darkly futuristic tale of a world under the grips of a powerful
CEO. The director, Alex Orelle, was born in London and has worked with Pixar
animation to develop his skills as an animator.
