A Beautiful Mind walked away with four Academy Awards including Best Picture, Director, Adapted Screenplay and Supporting Actress to Jennifer Connelly. Lord of the Rings had 13 nominations but only won kudos in four categories. But the real stars of the show were the African American actors. His dream cast has already been garlanded at sundry awards ceremonies around the globe although this British production was only released on home ground shortly before its selection in competition in Berlin. more
