JAPAN’S ICHIBAN SHORT FILM
FESTIVAL
Now entering our 10th year, the Short Shorts Film Festival (SSFF)
has become one of Asia’s largest festival for international
short films. Our main festival is held for over a week in the heart
of Harajuku TOKYO! This year, SSFF traveled to five different cities
in Japan on its National Tour including Nasu, Hiroshima, Okinawa,
Nagoya and Osaka. In addition, the SSFF International Tour took place
in Mexico, where it celebrated its 2nd year!
ACADEMY AWARDS ® ACCREDITED
In 2004 the Short Shorts Flm Festival was recognized by the Academy
of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences as a qualifying festival in the
short films categories for the annual Academy Awards®.
WIN TRAVEL TO JAPAN!
Many of our selected filmmakers will receive roundtrip airfare to
Tokyo to attend the festival in TOKYO!
