FILMSTOCK International is in its 3rd year this year and we are currently accepting films for our short film competition and independent feature section. Shorts should be no longer than 25 minutes in length and entry forms are available online at www.filmstock.co.uk. Filmmakers wishing to submit a feature should email contact@filmstock.co.uk with information.
Deadline for entries is March 1st 2001.

FILMSTOCK is one of the fastest growing film festivals in the UK. Working in partnership with the community of Luton it is more than an annual film festival. It is about cinema in its entirety and aims to fuse the joy of moviegoing with the art of filmmaking in one simultaneous experience. It is aimed at everyone who watches or makes films and for whatever reason.

The festival offers a vibrant mix of mainstream Hollywood classics and films from first time independent filmmakers in a screening atmosphere that has seen filmmakers travel from all corners of the globe to our first two festivals. The third FILMSTOCK festival promises to be no different.

One of the most exciting aspects of this year's event is a plan to shoot, edit and screen a short film over the course of the two-week period through a collaboration of visiting and local filmmakers.
