IFFI Goa 2017, I: Delegate Registrations and Committees

International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2017 will be held in Panaji Goa, from the 20^th to the 28^th November. It has been held annually in the tourist haven since 2005.

IFFI’s has grown from 23 participating countries in 1952, to 100 countries in 2017. Three main committees spearhead the organisation of the effectively nine day event: The Preview (selection) Committee, the Steering Committee and the Technical Committee. Major shake-ups were witnessed in the said committees after actress-turned-politician, Ms. Smriti Z. Irani, took over as the Minister of Information and Broadcasting, the Central Government apex body that runs the festival.
