The SCAD Savannah Film Festival celebrated the second day of the 20th anniversary event on Sunday, October 29th. Guests in attendance included Salma Hayek Pinault, Sir Patrick Stewart, Andrea Riseborough, Dee Rees, Jennifer Morrison, Sean Baker and Chris Bergoch. Salma Hayek (“Beatriz at Dinner”) received the Outstanding Achievement in Cinema Award; Patrick Stewart (“Logan”) received the Legends of Cinema Award and Andrea Riseborough (“Battle of the Sexes”) received the Outstanding Supporting Actress Award.

Day 2 also featured the Annual Docs To Watch Panel moderated by The Hollywood Reporter’s Scott Feinberg with directors Brett Morgen ("Jane"), Ceyda Torun ("Kedi"), Jeff Orlowski ("Chasing Coral"), Greg Barker ("The Final Year"), John Ridley ("Let It Fall"), Yance Ford ("Strong Island"), Evgeny Afineevsky ("Cries from Syria"), Bryan Fogel ("Icarus"), Amanda Lipitz ("Step"), Laura Poitras ("Risk") and appearances by Dee Rees (“Mudbound”), Jennifer Morrison (“Sun Dogs”), Sean Baker and Chris Bergoch (“The Florida Project”).

The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) celebrates 20 years of cinematic creativity at the 2017 SCAD Savannah Film Festival. The festival, held in downtown Savannah, Georgia, runs from Saturday, Oct. 28, to Saturday, Nov. 4.
