San Sebastian Film festival: Spanish films announced

 

We attended today in Madrid a press conference at the Academia de Cine in which all Spanish films to be shown in San Sebastian have been announced.

The latest films by Pablo Berger, Sergio Castellitto, Javier Rebollo, Fernando Trueba, Juan Antonio Bayona and Eduard Cortés in the Official Selection of the San Sebastian Festival Another three Spanish films are taking part in the New Directors section and another five will be presented in special screenings.

Some important directors on the national film scene will be coming together once again with up-and-coming Spanish filmmakers at the San Sebastián Film Festival. The programme in the Official Selection for the 60th San Sebastián Film Festival will include four Spanish films that will be competing for the Golden Shell and another two out of competition. Three Spanish films will also be competing in the New Directors section for the Kutxa-New Directors Award, while another five will be screened in the Zabaltegi Specials section.
