Korean offering at the ongoing 46th IFFI in Goa, ‘Daddy, Grandpa and My Lady revolves around three men who fall in love with a foreigner and how they react, behave and understand one another even when they speak a different language and live in a different culture.
Jung Hyun Kim, director of ‘Daddy, Grandpa and My Lady’ says he wanted to speak about love in three different generations.
"Falling in love is not a process but an understanding shared between people and we all want it so badly in the world but all I can say is love changes everything… be it old or young.”
The film is a truncated version of a larger script created by him.
He has visiting India since the past 4 years and confesses he finds it difficult to understand India; still he says, “I would love to make films with an Indian background if I had a chance.”
