Robin Miner
My name is Robin Miner. I will be living abroad in Cannes during the 2017 Festival De Cannes. I have volunteered at other festivals in the US over the past five years. I have made it possible for me to take a leave of absence from my career outside of anything to do with the film industry and allow myself to take this wonderful journey to live abroad in your beautiful country. I will be living abroad for month in Cannes I would like to work locally at the festival. I am a great people person and no task, no customer, no event is too small – I provide 100% effort ensuring a great experience for all. I have worked the Sundance Festival, Phoenix Film Festival, Scottsdale Film Festival along with The Greater Phoenix Jewish Film Festival. In planning my trip to Cannes I purposely planned to stay with a slight margin in term of days, compared to the beginning of the festival. And it is all beginning! It is just lovely here and everyday so far brings something new! Today as the cranes reach high on top of the Carlton Intercontinental Hotel Cannes to display the new Spiderman movie the site was a treat to watch as me and others stopped to watch this action take place. As it still hovers in the 60-70's here in Cannes with on and off showers it is still amazing to be here. The stunning ships arriving here is a sight all its own! More on that to come.
