Musivision Films
Musivision Films is an artist driven, full service film and music production company located in Montreal Canada. Founded in 2006 by Laurie Gordon, president of Musivision is a boutique production house working with icons of the animation world; animator Oscar nominee Ryan Larkin and Oscar winner Co Hoedeman and three time Oscar nominee cult film Heavy Metal director Gerald Potterton. Laurie is also the director of The Montreal International Animation Film Festival (MIAFF) sometimes referred to as Animaze. Musivision produced documentary film Ryan’s Renaissance (available in French and English versions) began production with partner CTV BelllMedia and broadcast on Bravo. MusiVision is currently in development with animation and feature films, including I Spy My Father about Laurie enigmatic father and a feature documentary film on animation director London born Gerald Potterton his short film High Flight. Montreal Festival du nouveau cinéma (FNC) is pleased to announce that Denis Villeneuve’s latest work, BLADE RUNNER 2049, will be presented at a special screening on October 4 at Théâtre Maisonneuve de la Place des Arts as the opening film of its 46th edition, which runs from October 4 to 15, 2017. After screening his first movies, the FNC is proud to welcome the Quebec director back to his hometown with his latest opus, his fourth American feature, and one of the most highly anticipated films of the year. BLADE RUNNER 2049 is a sequel to the acclaimed classic Blade Runner, directed by Ridley Scott in 1982.
In the new film, a young blade runner's discovery of a long-buried secret leads him on a quest to track down former blade runner, Rick Deckard, who has been missing for thirty years.
BLADE RUNNER 2049 features a star-studded cast, led by Ryan Gosling (Drive, La La Land) and Harrison Ford (the Star Wars saga, Indiana Jones), reprising his role as Rick Deckard. Also starring in the movie,areAna de Armas (War Dogs), Sylvia Hoeks (Renegades), Robin Wright (House of Cards, Wonder Woman), Mackenzie Davis (The Martian), Carla Juri (Brimstone), and Lennie James (The Walking Dead), with Dave Bautista (the Guardians of the Galaxy films), and Jared Leto (Dallas Buyers Club, Suicide Squad).
BLADE RUNNER 2049 was produced by Andrew A. Kosove & Broderick Johnson and Bud Yorkin & Cynthia Sikes Yorkin. Ridley Scott served as an executive producer, together with Tim Gamble, Frank Giustra, Yale Badik, Val Hill, and Bill Carraro. Villeneuve directed the film from a screenplay by Hampton Fancher and Michael Green, story by Fancher, based on characters from the novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? by Philip K. Dick.
From Alcon Entertainment, Warner Bros. Pictures and Sony Pictures Entertainment, the film will hit theatres on October 6, 2017.

Montréal, le jeudi 21 septembre 2017 – Le Festival du nouveau cinéma de Montréal (FNC) est heureux d’annoncer que le nouveau film de Denis Villeneuve, BLADE RUNNER 2049, sera présenté en projection exceptionnelle le 4 octobre prochain au Théâtre Maisonneuve de la Place des Arts, en ouverture de sa 46e édition, qui se tiendra du 4 au 15 octobre 2017. Après avoir présenté ses premiers films, le FNC est fier d’accueillir le dernier opus du réalisateur québécois, dans sa ville, alors qu’il signe ici son quatrième long-métrage américain, et l’un des films les plus attendus de l’année. BLADE RUNNER 2049 est une suite au classique Blade Runner, réalisé par Ridley Scott en 1982, et acclamé par la critique.
En 2049, la société est fragilisée par les nombreuses tensions entre les humains et leurs esclaves créés par bio-ingénierie. L’officier K est un Blade Runner : il fait partie d’une force d’intervention d’élite chargée de trouver et d’éliminer ceux qui n’obéissent pas aux ordres des humains. La découverte d’un secret le met sur la trace de Rick Deckard, un ancien Blade Runner disparu depuis trente ans.
BLADE RUNNER 2049 met en vedette une distribution impressionnante, menée par Ryan Gosling (Drive, La La Land) et Harrison Ford (Star Wars, Indiana Jones), dans le rôle de Rick Deckard.
