The Festival screens off Hard Drives: If your film is selected we prefer films to be delivered as Apple Prores HQ Quicktime file with a frame rate of (23.98) on a portable hard drive from this file the Festival produces DCPs and Blu Rays.

Note: This is IF your film is successful and selected into the Festival. - When submitting a screener to the Festival just send the film on DVD either in NTSC or PAL format

We can't begin to tell you how many films we've had to pass on because the master file was not converted properly from PAL to NTSC or NTSC to PAL. If the film is shot on HD, you must convert the film through a special conversion box (like an alchemist or terenax).

To help, we have set up a special rate for films to be properly converted at DG in NYC. It is the best rate you will find anywhere in the world. Get your film in the right formats before sending it to film festivals.
