Little Rock Film FestivalLittle Rock, AR –The Little Rock Film Festival is pleased to announce the 8th Annual Little Rock Film Festival (LRFF) to be held on May 12th – May 18th, 2014. Founded by Award winning Filmmakers Brent and Craig Renaud, the Little Rock Film Festival is an annual film and cultural event held each year in downtown Little Rock, Arkansas, based in the thriving historic River Market District. Back for its seventh year the LRFF is one of the most competitive festivals in the country and each accepted film receives travel and accommodation support. LRFF showcases the best international films and the best in narrative, documentary, and short films from around the World. Recent LRFF prize winners/alums have included Beasts of the Southern Wild, Winters Bone, Another Earth, Tiny Furniture, Breaking Upwards, Natural Selection, That Evening Sun, The Interrupters, Restrepo, High Tech Low Life, and Invisible War. The festival has hosted more than 350 films from over three dozen countries till date. LRFF also conducts educational workshops for all ages that consist of panels with industry leaders, notable actors, directors, and producers from around the globe. Each day ends with after-parties at the city’s hottest venues which include the annual festival gala at the Clinton Presidential Library.
