Submit your Film to the FestivalTo register your film to a festival, you need to be registered with a film in the database. First open a profile on filmfestivals.com: register and register a film and join the new major Film Database of the joint sites, filmfestivals.com, the leading media covering film events worldwide. this will allow you to promote your film, to submit your film directly to our partner festivals and more. Attached below is the detailed description of FestivalExpress. - Create your Film record and blog on filmfestivals.com in 3 easy steps: 1- Create your account on Filmfestivals.com, this will create your own blog, simple, efficient and free. (top left Button) 2- Create your Film record 3- Publish information, news, images, film stills, video trailer of your film... - Submit your film to the festivals using "FestivalExpress" FestivalExpress is the filmfestivals.com one click festival submission tool. Once your film is registered, on the top left of the page click on "Browse 5,000 festivals"to see festival who are accepting film submission. Or click on "By Name" if you already know what festival you are looking for. You can search by call for entry, festival date, country and submission fee. Make sure you are logged to your Film account. Select a festival in the list by clicking on it's title. On the top right, the submission application will display your registered film(s) and allow you to submit them. Just select the right Festival section and it is done! As simple as that, a one click submission. - Manage your film submissions You can follow the status of your film submissions online at the "Submission status" tab of your Film information of your fest21.com profile. Please note that your film is considered submitted only when accepted by the festival. To find your film record, on the left click on "My Blog" Click on the title of your film record Click on "Festival Submission Status" Submitted films start with the status Submitted. It is up to the festival to then "Accept" them by changing the film status. Once paid directly to the festival (or if the festival submission is free) the festival will change the status to "Payed". The filmmaker will be advised of the changes. Later on, once the festival selection is defined, the status change to "Selected" for the films the festival will program. Same for awards. You will also receive an email for each submitted film and each status change. New tools will be developped in the coming weeks and months to extend the FestivalExpress submission tools namely the printout of a complete film form. After all this, search for Festivals, look for festivals accepting our FestivalsExpress submission system, make friends with other filmmakers, with festival organizers...
