The 11^th edition of the festival, was held October 26^th - November 1^st on the Spanish island of Mallorca, will also boast for the first time a Cinematography Focus as part of the 7-day programme.

Evolution, Mallorca International Film Festival (EMIFF) showcases innovative, provocative, socially-relevant filmmaking while positioning Palma de Mallorca, Spain as a global destination for a creative community.

WHAT IS EMIFF?

EMIFF is the fastest growing competitive film festival in the Mediterranean.  Since its 2012 inception, the number of films screened has nearly doubled, and ticket sales have tripled.  In conjunction with its sister screening event in Hollywood, CA, EMIFF is becoming an international launching pad for promising new talent in all genres.

Raw. Fresh. Edgy. Hip. Distinctive.  These are the hallmarks of EMIFF filmmakers and films.  The selection committee and jury look for films that feature real, compelling stories, a unique point-of-view, and emotional range.
