Revelation Perth International Film Festival announces the appointment of a new Chairman to its Board of DirectorJoining the Revelation Board is the former State Manager for Paramount Pictures and United International Pictures Ian Hale. Having built a formidable reputation over his years in the industry, Ian is about to embark on his own production as Managing Director of The Backlot Perth, a 50-seat, state-of-the-art cinema designed for not only for corporate film screenings and presentation use but also to service film makers with post-production and editing facilities. The announcement of the new Chairman comes at the completion of Revelation’s most successful festival in its seventeen year history. Extending its program to more venues across the city has resulted in record box office returns and allowed greater access to films for enthusiastic audiences across Perth. "2014 has been our most successful year to date with sold out sessions across town and guests from around the world" says Revelation founder Richard Sowada "And it's with this strength that we welcome on Ian Hale as new Festival Chairman. Ian's unique place in the industry alongside the energy of the rest of the Board is exactly what Rev needs for the future that has great challenges and enormous potential." 27.07.2014 | Editor's blog Cat. : PEOPLE
