Line up for AFI announced

AFI FEST 2010 will run from November 4th – 11th in Hollywood, California!

In just a few weeks, AFI FEST 2010 presented by Audi will screen 97 films (66 features, 31 shorts) selected from 3,000 submissions across 31 countries at the historic Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, the Mann Chinese 6 theatres, the Egyptian Theatre and the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. The breakdown by section is as follows: Gala/Tribute (8), Special Screening (4), Young Americans (6), New Auteurs (8), World Cinema (23), Midnight (3), Alt/Art (3), Breakthrough (5) and Short Film (31). These sections celebrate a variety of films and worldwide talent- from highlighting emerging filmmakers to showcasing comedy and horror programming at midnight screenings to featuring films discovered solely through the submission process. In addition, award-winning filmmaker and artist David Lynch will serve as the festival’s first-ever Guest Artistic Director.




Also, please note that AFI FEST 2010 is offering FREE TICKETS TO ALL SCREENINGS, giving all movie-goers the opportunity to take part in this world-class film festival!! TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC OCTOBER 28 and early access to tickets for AFI Members will be available on OCTOBER 27.
