Annapolis Film Festival Announces Best of the Fest

March 30 - April 2, 2017

The Annapolis Film Festival announces the winners of its 2017 audience and juried shorts awards. In the juried shorts competition, the Best Documentary Short is Snails from Poland directed by Grzegorz Szczepaniak and the Best Narrative Short is DeKalb Elementary directed by Reed Van Dyk.

In the audience competition, the Best Documentary Short is Snails (our first repeat award); the Best Narrative Short is Rated directed by John Fortson; the Best Documentary Feature is Breaking Point: The War for Democracy in Ukraine directed by Mark Jonathan Harris and Oles Sanin (a USA/Ukraine production); and the Best Narrative Feature is Burn Your Maps directed by Jordan Roberts.

Congratulations to all of these involved in these wonderful films! The competition was incredibly stiff as the 2017 AFF slate of films was nothing short of outstanding!
