Burgundy is the cradle of photography and cinema. Nicéphore Niepce and Étienne Jules Marey set the founding stones of these two inventions, which have become our civilisation’s predominant media.
NICÉPHORE CITÉ was created in Chalon-sur-Saône in October 2004 and is a partially public company whose goal is to create activities in the area in the audiovisual field. This is how the company now runs a network of experts of sound and images, in order to respond to demands coming from the region, the country or even Europe.
