BIEF and SCELF have made it possible for licensers of audiovisual rights to actively participate in the upcoming Cannes Film Festival, which will take place from May 14 to 25, 2014. We have tailored a programme specifically for their needs, organised as follows:

• A day of professional contacts organized by SCELF, Monday May 20, will start off with a pitching session with titles selected by a jury of producers, followed by a reception, where audiovisual rights licensors and producers can discuss the day's events and future contacts.
   
• Promotion of the Internet site www.frenchbooksintofilms.org.

• BIEF is publishing a catalogue of audiovisual rights in English. 11,300 copies of this catalogue will be distributed to all the festival participants. After a presentation of SCELF, BIEF, and the Internet site www.frenchbooksintofilms.org, the catalogue is divided into two parts: one presenting 10 titles selected by a jury of producers and the other providing the details of all the publisher-participants.
