Bangkok, May 6, 2016 -- Over a decade Thai film industry has been strengthened by a plenty of emerging young generation filmmakers. Thai films have been projected in many film festivals all over the world, while, the large number of films which were being produced in Thailand or making use of the country's state-of-the-art facilities and technicians. Appropriately, to exchange the next step of Thai and International film business and aspect, Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Royal Thai Ministry of Commerce, introduces you the two great events for the opportunity during Cannes Film Festival 2016 with Thai Business Matching & Thai Night 2016 Thailand Where Films Come Alive, an event of ‘Thaiconic’.

Held in Cannes on Saturday May 14th, at Carlton’s Grand Salon presided by Her Royal Highness Princess Ubolratana Rajakanya Sirivadhana Barnavadi, the Thai Night 2016 Thailand Where Films Come Alive, an event of ‘Thaiconic’, will state a focus on the glamor of Thailand where is such a place for filming, evaluated from the recent accomplishments, featured with the special performance and showreel by the theme of Thaiconic. Also How to win at checkers [every time], directing Korean-American Josh Kim, was chosen for Oscar nomination which established the medium of how to define Thai film. The Enthusiasm of Thai filmmakers and moviegoers would bring about a variation.
