Arts Alliance Opens North American Office as it Continues to Grow the World's Largest Event Company

Event cinema business Arts Alliance, and its sister company, Park Circus, the distributor of classic movies, today announced the opening of a new North American office. This reflects another milestone in the companies’ acknowledged success in becoming the “go-to” partner for rights holders looking to exploit their content in cinemas worldwide, and strengthens relationships further with North American exhibitors.

The synergies across Park Circus and Arts Alliance will create further opportunities to market and “eventise” classic film libraries for one-of-a-kind in-theatre events.

Mark Foster, CEO of Arts Alliance said:

“Establishing a North American center in Los Angeles will enable us to maintain and develop our already-strong relationships with key partners from film studios, to exhibitors, to management companies, record labels, and arts institutions.  The team assembled has vast experience in developing and growing businesses, while bringing significant value to our partners.  This makes us uniquely qualified to position Arts Alliance as the leading producer, financier, distributor and marketer of Event Cinema worldwide. Nick Varley, Managing Director of Park Circus, and I, are excited about working with our new North American team.”

Brad Carroll, Managing Director for North American and Head of Business Development said:

“I am thrilled to be joining Arts Alliance and Park Circus at such an exciting time of tremendous growth for Event Cinema.  The company’s ability to expertly market and distribute to over 10,000 worldwide screens from such exceptional partners as The Royal Opera House, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, major film studios as well as brands such as Exhibition on Screen, position it as the premier Event Cinema company.”

The North American team will be based in Studio City, California and principals include:

Brad Carroll, Managing Director North America.  A 20-plus year executive of the distribution business, with a tenure that includes Miramax, AMC Theatres, Technicolor, Fandango, and Cinedigm. He will be responsible for the company’s North American operations, as well as developing outstanding relationships with content producers, exhibitors, and marketingpartners.

Cyndi Ex, formerly of Deluxe and ETS and a longstanding distribution executive joins the company as Director of Finance and Operations.

Chris Lane joins the company as Sales Manager for Arts Alliance. Passionate about the arts, he was most recently Manager of worldwide repertory sales at Sony Pictures and has extensive knowledge of the US exhibition market.

Chris Chouinard continues in his role as Sales Manager for Park Circus. Chris has been with the company for over three years and previously held roles at Paramount, MGM and Mann Theatres.
