Writer/Director Nabil Abou-Harb gives a comedic yet parallel look at the life of an average Arab-American living in the United States post 9/11. The film, about 13 minutes in length, follows a character by the name of Osama Abou-Bakr, who experiences some hardships while searching for a job after graduating college. He changed his name and makes attempts to change his ethnicity throughout silly, constantly difficult situations. This film is small in length but grand in talent, directly addressing the problems with discrimination against Arabs in America today. Arab in America
Really enjoyed this film as well - I'd suggest everyone to try to go see it. I met the director as he was passing out fliers and spoke of trying to turn it into a feature. I didn't know anyone, so I couldn't help him - but everyone should still try to see it!
