1. The 4 th Iñigo Film Festival (TIFF) and the “Iñigo Awards” are sponsored by the Society of Jesus as represented by the Conference of European Provincials (CEP). 2. The prizes (“Iñigo Awards”) will be awarded to short films on the theme “City of God”. The maximum length is 20 minutes. The format for submissions must be DVD (region 0, 1 or 2) or Blu-ray (region 0 or 2) in PAL or NTSC. It is expected that these films will successfully integrate their religious, spiritual, and social themes with the resources of film as a modern artistic medium. English subtitles are required for non-English language films. 3. TIFF is world-wide in scope. It is intended for—and limited to—independent young filmmakers. The age limit is 35 (= date of birth 1978 and later). 4. There will be a first prize of 2.500 Euro, with a second and third prize of 1.500 Euro and 1.000 Euro respectively. There will be two additional non-monetary Awards: one to a film chosen by the audience, “The Audience Award”, and “The Fidel Goetz Emerging Film-Maker Award” recognizing the best film by young film makers who do not have access to professional equipment. 5. The winners will be decided by a jury consisting of two representatives from the area of film and new media, and two members of the Society of Jesus. 6. All who enter the competition agree not to contest the jury’s decisions through any legal process. The outcome of the judging procedure for the “Iñigo Awards” is final. 7. All submissions are non-returnable. All materials submitted become the property of the Society of Jesus. Please do not send the original tape or any other original materials. The sender alone is responsible for postage. The Society of Jesus will not accept shipments on delivery and will not pay duty on shipments requiring it. Rights for Broadcasting and Copyrights: 8. The author or the group submitting a film must have the full right, power and authority to enter it into the film festival (TIFF). The film-maker must have obtained and will maintain during the time of the festival all rights, authorizations, permits, exemptions, consents and licenses covering the film to grant TIFF the broadcast and public performance rights. 9.
