Who is cast to play your favourite characters in the latest Justice League film?

Superhero fans are already at the edge of their seat in preparation for the new Justice League film set to come out later this year. Our favourite superheroes have all been revamped and brought up to date in the latest reboot and none of us can wait to see what’s going to happen. But, until then, we can at least read up on the incredible cast set to hit the screen:

Wonder Woman (Diana Prince)

The Amazonian demigoddess with a lasso of truth that we’ve all been waiting to see on the big screen will be played in the new Wonder Woman film and the latest Justice League film by Israeli actress and model, Gal Gadot, who also played her in the Batman Vs Superman film last year. While Gadot hasn’t been much of a notable figure in the Hollywood spotlight, she has certainly made herself the star of the show with this role. Many people think that what made her perfect for the role is her beauty as well as her brawn and spunky personality. As well as being crowned Miss Israel back in 2014, Gadot served in the Israel Defence Forces. Despite the controversy still surrounding the role and Wonder Woman’s place in modern cinema, almost everyone involved in the project believes that Gadot is the perfect actress to bring this strong female figure to life.

Aquaman (Arthur Curry)

Aquaman was one of the DC superheroes that most fans had been desperate to see. Despite some of the earlier versions of Aquaman being less than impressive, he is one heck of a superhero and the latest reboot has everyone anxious to see more from him.  Jason Momoa will be the one to portray this saturated superstar that stormed our screens in Batman V Superman and already we’re expecting to appear in his own solo Aquaman film next year in 2018. Many people will know Momoa from a more recent role that saw him become a recognisable figure on our screens – Khal Drogo from Game of Thrones. However, more is yet to come from this actor as rumours of a certain  remake with Momoa cast as the lead already has people…cawing.

Superman (Clark Kent)

As one might have expected, the latest Superman will be played by none other than Henry Cavill who has become something of a household name after his performance in Man of Steel. After the new Justice League we’re also expecting to see him in another Superman film, although the details are still being kept a secret from the fans.

Batman (Bruce Wayne)

Ben Affleck’s role in the Batman reboot caused a fair amount of controversy for some of the fans, but it seems that Affleck is taking that in his stride and keeping the cape, even going so far as to turn down directing the next film so he can concentrate more on the acting. With rumours circulating about the potential appearance of Deathstroke in the next film, there is a lot to look forward to.

The Flash (Barry Allen)

Ezra Miller, star of We Need to Talk About Kevin and other great films is set to be The Flash yet again after his appearances in both Batman V Superman and Suicide Squad. So far, we haven’t seen much of Miller’s version of The Flash, the latest Justice League will certainly give us a better look in preparation for his solo movie in 2020.

Cyborg (Victor Stone)

Everyone loved seeing Ray Fisher as Cyborg in Batman V Superman and we’re all glad to see him again in the new Justice League and, better yet, in his own solo Cyborg movie that was announced not too long ago. While there is no set date for it yet, everyone is looking forward to it and hoping that perhaps a few other characters from the Teen Titans may make an appearance.
