Presenting in Cannes: Road to Revolution

When twenty six year old university graduate, Mohamed Bouazizi, set himself ablaze in protest of the municipal corruption in Sidi Bouzid, Tunisia, he ignited a world changing flame. His death created a wave of political turmoil that swept through the Middle East and North Africa, inciting hundreds of thousands to join in the uprising that became known as the Arab Spring.

Road to Revolution follows the journey of three Portuguese journalists who travel through Tunisia, Syria, Egypt and Libya, some two years after the uprising. Once there, they meet the men and women who have experienced the consequences of revolution first-hand.

From the bold resisters of Egypt’s Tahrir Square to the Syrian refugees, to the freedom fighters and the mothers of Libyan martyrs, Road to Revolution captures the voices of ordinary people caught up in extraordinary circumstances. Amidst a fire storm of tragic upheavals and media hysterics, this documentary stands as an honest and intimate testimony of the past, present and future.

COLLIDER - MOVIE

SYNOPSIS:

What would you do if you could travel back in time? When a scientific experiment goes wrong, mankind is on the verge of extinction and the world faces its darkest hour. Mysteriously transported to a post-apocalyptic future, six people need to find a way to get back to the present and save mankind - and their own lives. In the year 2018, the planet collapses due to natural disaster and the appearance of a mutant species called “The Unknown”. Unaware of time and space, the six survivors, driven by Peter Ansay, a young genius in quantum physics will have to join forces to reactivate the “Collider” and go back in time and avoid the apocalypse. But it will not be an easy journey: within less than 24 hours, the gate will close for good...
