American Film Market Dailies

Tommy Wiseau, director/actor/producer of the legendary cult classic THE ROOM will be returning to AFM today at 3pm in the Cinema Epoch suite at Loews #309. 

James Franco will be portraying Mr. Wiseau in the upcoming Warner Brothers feature THE DISASTER ARTIST which Franco will also direct. Seth Rogen is producing the film which shoots in December. The film follows the adventures behind the scenes of the making of THE ROOM, a film that has become the Rocky Horror Picture Show for the new generation. 

Cinema Epoch is handling international sales of THE ROOM at the AFM. Please come visit us to meet Mr. Wiseau who will be doing signings and handing out promotional items from the film.

SYNOPSIS: Johnny is a successful banker who lives happily in a San Francisco townhouse with his fiancée, Lisa. One day, inexplicably, she gets bored of him and decides to seduce Johnny's best friend, Mark. From there, nothing will be the same again.

THE ROOM has been a major phenomenon around the world with sold out screenings and a studio-produced feature about the making of the film and based on the book "The Disaster Artist" has been announced to be directed and starring James Franco and produced and starring Seth Rogen.
