Tiberius Film acquires French Comedy AURORE and other international HighlightsIn the framework of the AFM 2017 in Los Angeles, Tiberius Film gives notice of several top-class purchases. In addition to the French comedy AURORE and the horror highlight NIGHTWORLD with Robert Englund, the Munich-based, independent contractor secured the rights to the star-studded US comedy A LITTLE SOMETHING FOR YOUR BIRTHDAY. AURORE, a beautiful and humorous film about new beginnings and the pitfalls of aging, stars the French actress Agnès Jaoui („Look at me“), who delivers a convincing and heart-warming performance. Director Blandine Lenoir („Ainsi soient-ils“) creates the portrait of a woman in the prime of her life, who is kept on her toes by her turbulent family, her job and a new love interest. AURORE is expected to be released in cinemas in spring of 2018. Horror icon Robert Englund („Nightmare on Elmstreet“) shines once again in the terrifying horror shocker NIGHTWORLD. The new film by Chilean director Patricio Valladares („Hidden in the Woods“, „Wrong Trail“) stars Jason London („Dazed and Confused“) in the leading role as a former cop, who uncovers the secret of an old apartment block. Writer and director Susan Walters presents her directing debut A LITTLE SOMETHING FOR YOUR BIRTHDAY, a heart-warming and empathic romantic comedy. The stardriven film tells a wonderful parable about friendship, life and the constant search of oneself, starring superstar Sharon Stone („Basic Instinct“, „Casino“), who plays the lead as the beautiful Senna, Famke Janssen („X-Men“, „How to Get Away with Murder“), Ellen Burstyn („Interstellar“, „Requiem for a Dream“) and Tony Goldwyn („Divergent“, „The Last Samurai“). Wolfgang Carl, managing director of Tiberius Film GmbH: „Once again we’re pleased to announce the acquisition of international film highlights at the beginning of AFM. For us, it is important to make use of this prominent event by deepening the longstanding relationships with our partners, to be able to provide our consumers with a range of excellent and diverse films.“
