James Moll's documentary traces the distinctive experience of five Hungarian survivors of the Holocaust.

Moll has dedicated his career to documenting the extermination of European Jews, producing Survivors of the Holocaust and The Lost Children of Berlin for the Survivors of the Shoah Visual Foundation, for which he is the founding executive director.

"My life has been consumed by the Holocaust," says Moll, who began the foundation with Steven Spielberg (also exec producer of The Last Days). "The film was one of the projects Steven had an idea for. At the end of 1993 he had seen some of the work I had done on a promotional and educational film."
