McCoy, who rose to fame and notoriety in the early 1980s with the now defunct glam rock band Hanoi Rocks, has survived heroin addiction and other personal crises that would have killed other men. Director Pekka Lehto befriended McCoy, "bought him quite a few ciders" and collaborated with him on this often surreal exploration of his creative muse and inner demons.

| Hopefully, Lehto's film will renew interest in Hanoi Rocks as well as in McCoy's softer, flamenco-influenced solo work. Natalie Gravenor |
