Currently attracting a lot of interest in the market is Tic Tac, the multi-Golden Bug-winning feature by Swedish director Daniel Alfredson. A Swedish take on Short Cuts, the film follows a series of characters whose paths cross during 24 hours in a Swedish city.
Screening in the European Film Market, Tic Tac was awarded Golden Bugs - the local Oscars - for Best Feature, Best Director and Best Supporting Actor (Emil Forselius).
Also on show in Berlin and honoured in Sweden, Daniel Fridell's Under ytan (Under the Surface) took the prizes for Best Actress (Johanna Sällström) and Best Cinematographer (Jens Fischer). JRJ
