
Quadra Entertainment, Inc., which will develop, license and distribute films for the worldwide market, will bow at AFM with a six-strong slate. Company founder Christian Halsey Solomon already has in place a management team that previously worked together at Solomon Pictures International, the theatrical division of Solomon International Enterprises, the company set up by his father Michael in 1994.
Quadra ës team - Halsey Solomon, Chris Bialek as president International Distribution and Acquisitions, Rebecca Morrison, vice president of development and acquisitions, Lee Solomon, vice president of finance and business affairs, and Marco Colombo, who will oversee daily business operations - will continue as SIE's partner in the theatrical business. The company will focus on creating strategic alliances with major producers and production companies, but will also acquire product on an international basis, and secure financing for the projects it develops internally.
Quadraís slate includes two action/adventure titles currently in pre-production, Perfect Target and Strip Search, starring Michael Pare; three thrillers, The Surrogate, Uncle Sam, starring Timothy Bottoms, and Wax Mask, currently in production under legendary cult director Dario Argento; and a comedy in development, Did You Hear What Happened to Eddie, directed by Martin Landau and starring Landau alongside Johnny Depp and John Cusack.
