support Women in Film's efforts to provide funds and resources to
help women complete their films and enter film festivals, FilmFestivals.com
is sponsoring a large online auction on eBay.com (March 10th-31st)
to coincide with the Academy Awards®. A second auction will be held
coinciding with the 53rd Cannes Film Festival.

We've
all seen the statistics about the under-representation of women
and minorities in the entertainment industry… but what women need
is a hand up, not a hand out. WIF’s Film Finishing Fund provides
funds and resources to support emerging filmmakers — and their films
have won awards at Film Festivals and several have gone on to win
Academy Awards®..

25 years, WIF has provided an important network of professional
contacts, educational and apprenticeship programs, scholarships
and practical services that promote, nurture and guide women to
achieve their highest career potential. Our prestigious annual Crystal
Awards and Lucy Awards provide an opportunity to recognize our achievements
and bring industry and public awareness to the positive strides
being made by talented women in our industry.
